GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

CYCLE GOING TO THE SUN ROAD & CAMAS ROAD

GOING TO THE SUN ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Currently, there is road construction on GTTS Road.  Those taking our weekday, morning GTTS Shuttle will only be able to ride about 6 miles from Lake McDonald Lodge to Avalanche.  It is relatively flat with beautiful views of the mountains and multiple overlooks of the river (but you'll only get about 12 miles of total riding in, which is fine for many).  If you're limited to a weekday morning shuttle, and you'd like to get more miles in, consider cycling the Camas Road.  The GTTS road construction crews stop working in the afternoon, and our afternoon shuttle to GTTS will allow you to ride about 13 miles from Lake McDonald Lodge, or about 3 miles past the loop (approx. 26 miles round trip).  THERE IS NO ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON THE WEEKENDS AND THE GTTS IS OPEN TO THE FURTHEST PLOWING.  Clear as mud?  Give us a call with questions!  406.212.0080.
