The Tally Lake area is famous for incredible old growth, pristine mountain meadows, and flowy single track. We're absolutely stoked to be able to bring you a full helping of sweet, sweet Tally Lake goodness in this full day guided bike tour.
We start the morning by meeting up for coffee at Wild Coffee Company in downtown Whitefish at 8:00am. After hydrating and caffeinating, we load up and head to the Tally Lake Ranger District about 20 miles southwest of town.
We will be shuttling you to one, two, or three amazing sections of primarily downhill trail. The first section is about 4.8 miles in length, with just over 1,650 feet of vertical descent and about 400 feet of gain. This is an iconic Montana mountain bike experience with views of neighboring mountains as you ride along the ridge line.
The second section features even more net loss, with a whopping 1,900 feet of descent and only 450 feet of climbing mixed in among just 5.5 miles of trail.
The third option, for those who've still not had enough, is the most physically demanding, with 2,200 feet of loss and only 400 more feet of climbing, spread over a final 9 miles of trail.
No matter how we cut this one, it's an experience of a lifetime for those who appreciate some quality time in the sidecountry with a generous helping of fast, rowdy, downhill mountain biking action.
All trips include up to 6 hours of trail time, with shuttle to each trailhead from town and full service provisioning with snacks, lunch, beverages and a WF Tours Water Bottle. One driver and one to two guides, depending on size of group. We also offer pickup and drop-off for any rental bikes.
