We will be departing Whitefish and Kalispell heading up the North Fork Valley to the historic Polebridge Mercantile. It will take a little over an hour to arrive with one stop to drop off cyclists at the Camas Road Bridge. We will then continue on a dirt road up the western most edge of Glacier National Park enjoying expansive views of the Park (in our opinion, the best views of Glacier). Once we arrive in Polebridge, you'll have about an hour and a half to enjoy pastries from the Merc, or grab lunch from the Northern Lights Saloon. You can also enjoy a leisurely hike on the 2.5 mile nature trail adjacent to the Merc.
The North Fork Shuttle departs at either 8:30am or 3:00pm. The entire trip takes approximately 5 hours depending on weather, traffic, etc.
This is a great family trip if you're looking for a scenic drive, a short hike/ walk, and great food! The Polebridge Mercantile is a must see if you're visiting NW Montana!
